We had these guys at the Rebel FM Christmas party last year and on a boat cruise we did for Breast Cancer fund raising.
Fantastic set list from some very talented people . The singers voice is a knockout and the guitarist know’s how to make that guitar sing.

Love this band, I’ve seen them numerous times and keep returning to see them. Beautiful voices, wonderful sounds, very professional. When this band plays, they create an upbeat positive energy in the room for listening or for dancing! I highly recommend them for a party, a wedding or event as well as for professional gigs around town. I’ve been following them since 2011. They always provide a great atmosphere wherever they play.
Our family owns Daydream Island and we have hired this band for family functions both on the Island and at home in the Brisbane area over a period of more than ten years. Needless to say we wouldn’t keep asking them back if they weren’t just the best. We love to dance – and their music is fantastic to dance to.
I booked the this band for a friends 50th and they were terrific . I wanted to give my friend the perfect gift for her birthday and I decided that there would be no better gift than her family and friends being joyful and having fun and they delivered all that and more. They were so professional and had an amazing knack of picking all the right songs to keep the party going. Everyone was up dancing…. The young ones, the oldies and all of us in between. We had a great time. It was all I imagined. The gift of great memories. Surrounded by those you love having fun.
Last Saturday Night I had this band booked for a 60th Birthday party at the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club. The singer was lovely. She was warm and engaging. The music was great and I received lots of positive feedback. It was difficult for them because it was so oppressively hot and most of the people remained outside the venue. However, the music was able to be heard and enjoyed. Eventually dancing did occur.
I hired this band for my wedding and couldn’t have been happier. With so much to organise I was getting a little “bridezilla-ish” however I didn’t have to worry about the band. They were truly professional and were set up and playing just as planned. The music was divine and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. From jazz standards to the latest top 40 and all in between, they played music that was diverse enough for everyone to get up and dance the night away. Thanks guys for adding to my special day.

I LOVE this band. They played for my recent birthday party and they were fantastic — such a wide repertoire of songs and strong vocals, harmony and great beats to encourage people onto the dance floor. As others here have noted they had a real talent for picking the mood and playing real crowd pleasers even though we had guests from the pre-teens to those in their 70s, They played a great variety but songs that everyone loved and could sing along or dance to. As the party host, it was such a delight to me to have such great feedback from guests and also to see so many people enjoying themselves. They were also fantastically easy to work with — they brought all the equipment and lighting, set up really unobtrusively and dealt with changes of plan with timing etc. Very low maintenance but also great communication to check in on party plans. Even as I write this, I am smiling as I remember some of my favourite party memories of great songs and my friends and family so appreciating these talented performers. I have no hesitation in recommending this band for a wide variety of private or corporate events.
This band are amazing. I got married at the beginning of the year and had the band play they were so professional playing such a wide range of music that everyone could enjoy and dance to. This band was booked for our Army Apprentice 2016 Reunion Gala Night to commemorate our graduation 1962. Their communication prior to the event to set playlists, venue details and program was second to none in the ease of which it was organized. Their arrival at the venue was a highlight for the organizers with the easy going communication and professionalism displayed by all band members during setup and finalizing the finer details of the night.
Their choice and performance of dinner music was exceptional which laid the foundation for a relaxed informal atmosphere throughout the room. The choice by the band of entertainment R&B music was brilliant and warmly embraced by all.

The gathering loved their choice of songs and they were very professional throughout the setting up of equipment and the performance. Hi well it was my 60th aka 50th and wanted to make sure that all went well and particular the music was very important and after doing my due diligence Band 389 was chosen and yes they tweaked it perfectly pitched directly to the relevant age grouping and everybody had a great time, would thoroughly recommend them.

We had this band for our recent wedding at the Story Bridge Hotel. Excellent professionals with a wide variety of songs to suit everyone’s musical taste. In a digital age where most of the music we consume is online or via the cloud, we were so glad to have chosen to book a live band, rather than a DJ. And not just any live band – THIS band is the best. We hosted a gala dinner at Victoria Park for 150 carers and this band had them up on their feet and dancing the night away. By far this has been the most successful event we have ever hosted and it’s down to the venue and this band. Fantastic band, very reasonable. We will not look anywhere else for any future events, these guys are top shelf all the way 🙂
