This highly experienced and entertaining band is certain to get audiences headed for the dance floor.
The music has a broad appeal from teenagers to those who first heard the songs in the 60’s when they were the soundtrack to their misspent youth. Brisbane Soul / Motown Band 623 plays it all from dance floor fillers like Dancin’ in the Street, Rescue Me and Shake Your Tail-feather through slow burning lovers’ tracks like Let’s Get It On and I Never Loved a Man and flat out soul classics like Aretha’s definitive version of Respect and Stevie’s Signed Sealed Delivered.
This 9-piece band includes lead and backing vocalists, keyboards, guitar, bass, drums and a full horn section. The musicians have extensive live performance backgrounds including with touring shows, other tribute shows, and in live theater. They are professionally educated and trained musicians.
