She played Clarinet throughout her early years and was the featured vocalist in many musical productions. Now living and working in Australia for 16 years, Member 1 is a versatile, dynamic, professional entertainer and acclaimed vocalist with an ability to effortlessly transcend many genres of music, from the smoothest delivery of Buble style Jazz & Swing numbers, to Latin, blues & sultry ballads through to a night of up – tempo popular dance music… With Duo partner Member 2 , they perform at many corporate functions and events, and are regular Guest Entertainers on-board 5 star International Cruise liners.
Member 2 Born and educated in New South Wales Australia, Member 2 played piano from the age of 9 and was performing to live audiences by the time he reached 13 years. A talented pianist & keyboard player, vocalist and accomplished Band Leader whose musical career has taken him throughout Europe, Asia and extensively into the top venues in Sydney and Brisbane. Member 2 has played with the best musicians in the country and accompanied legends John Farnham and Shirley Bassey. Together with talented vocalist Member 1 , they formed Duo ‘Cairns Duo 550’ in early 2004 which has proven to be an amazingly successful partnership. Cairns Duo 550 This Sophisticated Duo, offer a blend of great musical arrangements and clever vocal harmonies, together with a mix of old and new songs, creating an entertainment experience to suit everyone. They perform songs in four languages and have a repertoire of over 600 songs which includes an eclectic mix of Jazz / Swing ,blues, Latin, to up-tempo dance music. They have the ability to add some of Australia’s finest musicians to re-create the Big Band era experience utilising their library of top quality written musical arrangements.
