Duo / Band 172 – This band consisting of a stunning female vocalist combined with a tight line up of bass, drums and electric guitar aim to bring you a fun, energy filled experience.

Mixing up funky dance numbers, old school soul, with pop and rock classics, this band has something for everyone from their vast repertoire of hit songs. With an impressive performance history of over 15 years from performing to around 25,000 people at Suncorp Stadium opening up a Broncos football match, to being the opening act for Aussie icons Daryl Braithwaite twice and also the Choirboys, to entertaining on a week long P&O cruise to Vanuatu as “guest entertainers”, through to performing at countless large corporate events for high profile companies, you can be assured of quality music and an extremely professional service.

Our 4, 5, or 6 piece band lineups are an incredibly entertaining choice to get everyone on the dance floor at corporate events, weddings, and private parties of any size being able to cater as background music right through to high energy dance tunes. For something really special why not add sax and/or a second lead vocalist to make a 5 or 6 piece lineup offering more on-stage visual flair and bringing a whole other dimension to the music.

Our duo features female vocalist and an amazing guitarist covering hit songs from the top 40 charts. Performing in acoustic format using live looping where the music is created on the spot with drum loops, looped bass lines and acoustic guitar layers is the ‘real deal’, quality music coming from talented musicians with a unique acoustic twist on popular tunes you’d hear on the radio every day. This format specialises in background music for a chilled atmosphere such as wedding ceremony or pre-reception entertainment, a classy relaxed cocktail party, birthday parties, house warmings, or venue Sunday session. We also offer the option to perform with backing tracks instead if you are after more of a full band sound and dance tunes.
We can also extend our duo to a trio by adding a drummer to the lineup adding the dynamics of a live drum kit to the backing tracks.

We provide a professional quality PA & band lighting system suitable for anywhere from a few up to 200 guests. Events with more than 200 guests require an additional fee for larger production. We play music during our breaks either from our iPod or yours to keep the mood or dance floor going. We tailor our set list for the night around your speeches & formalities as well as genre choice. We can provide a wireless microphone for you to use for speeches.
