Band 648 are a dynamic cover band based in Perth, Western Australia. Not only highly entertaining, but always professional and a pleasure to work with, Band 648 are quickly becoming favourites of the corporate music scene. With exceptional harmonies, and both female and male lead vocals, they have a very large repertoire of music which is always executed to the highest standard.
The band specialises in dance floor hits, but also have a collection of laid-back tunes to be played over dinner or pre-drinks. They understand the variety of age groups that may be present at your function, and can adapt to satisfy the crowd present. With a range of genres under their belt; from the disco hits of the 70s, through classic Aussie rock of the 80s, and today’s top 40 hits, the band is highly versatile, and can tailor their song list to your needs. The combination of guitar and synth allows Perth Band 648 to accomplish the original feel of your favourites more accurately than groups with only guitar, or smaller ensembles. Although Perth Band 648 is a relatively new band, each member has years or decades of performance experience in their own area of speciality. Together they form a band of exceptional quality and diversity. With all members performing professionally from a young age, and excelling in multiple instruments, you can be sure that you will be getting the best possible value for money. Other than working in previous successful cover bands, some of the industry experience the members of the band bring with them include studying under some of the state’s highest regarded jazz musicians at the tertiary level, session musician work, supporting local and international artists on stage both in Perth and touring regional Australia, events management, and arranging and producing tracks for local solo artists.
