Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 – Over 30 years ago Abba played eleven dates in Australia. This trip was accompanied by mass hysteria and was captured on film in Abba – the movie.
Today, Abba is considered one of the 3 largest selling recording artists in music history, alongside The Beatles & Elvis. Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 has been established since 1996. Then in 2000 auditions were held to find Benny, Bjorn and a drummer and bass player. In September 2000 Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 was reformed as a live 6-piece show band.
Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 is now a popular corporate & international act comprising of professional musicians and musical theatre performers. While we are dedicated to replicating the Abba sound, we have also added the theatrics and modern style to the songs as seen in the musical/movie “Mamma Mia”
Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 show has an entire wardrobe designed to capture the complete look of Abba – from the 70’s to now. Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 show is tailored to suit each individual event and function from costumes, scripting through to the song list. In 2009, Sydney Abba Tribute Band 407 went into the Wiggles studio and recorded all the songs they perform in the show. As a result, they now can do 4-piece shows for smaller functions and for their regular overseas bookings.
